Cancellation Policy

 

We are instituting a donation refund policy to ensure fair and transparent processing of requests for refunds of donations as digital payments are becoming more frequent. We expect that all donors will exercise due care and diligence while making donations but also recognizes that a donation may be made erroneously or donors may change their mind.

We will examine each request for refund of donation and endeavour to make the refund. We may also seek further information/documents and donor must cooperate in this regard. However, we are not obliged to make refunds and may, in our discretion, decline any requests for refunds of donations, particularly if a tax exemption certificate has been issued. If you would like your donation to we/can to be refunded. You must request us by email for a refund and your request must reach us within 14 (fourteen) days from the date on which you made the donation i.e. the date on which you made the donation online, electronically or through other means on www.wecancharity.org website.

The written request stating reason for requesting refund must contain all the following details pertaining to the donation

  • 1. Date of donation
  • 2. Donation amount
  • 3. If donation was made online, please provide transaction/payment ID whichever applicable

No refund can be processed once the tax exemption is generated by us. All decisions of we/can in this regard will be final and binding on the donor.
